Patrick Hunnicutt

Graduate Student Research

His research interests focus on the political economy of natural resources and foreign aid, specifically pertaining to the drivers of effective development assistance and post-conflict reconstruction. In the past, Patrick has studied domestic water conservation and international hydropower development along transboundary rivers. Before attending Bren, Patrick worked as a research assistant for Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment during which he co-authored a paper analyzing the role of big data and data visualization in international environmental policy.
